JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
I am so in love with this little guy. Doesn't he have the most adorable little baby face ever? He was an absolute angel during his first photo session - he slept the entire time and put up with a lot of stuff!! His little lips are just absolutely kissable! Here are a few of my favorites, it was hard to pick just a few - his whole session turned out beautifully!

MY SISTERS

Photobucket

I am so grateful to have three wonderful sisters (and one brother!). I certainly never appreciated them as a kid (mostly because the older two thought they had to be my mom too!), but I realize now what a treasure they are to have. It was so nice to spend a day with them all while I was visiting in FL, it was rare for us all to be together. I am in Maryland, Karen is in Minnesota, Jennie is in Tampa and Beth is in Starke, FL. Love you sis's!!

DAY 11

We are on day 11 of Influenza Type B in our house.....sigh...... Kirsten is finally back to functioning again, after adding a case of pink eye to the equation. I battled it for the past week, but seemed to fair better with it than the kids did. Poor Boo is just wiped out. She cries and whines all day, and finally gave in to the sleep this morning on the couch. I'm actually grateful that the only symptoms of this flu is the fever, aches, and general lethargy. I'll take that any day over the stomach flu. Just crossing my fingers that the third kid doesn't come down with it (yeah, right).

I WISH I COULD BOTTLE HER UP

Photobucket
My little princess is at the PERFECT age right now. She is three years and three months. She brings such an amazing joy to our lives!! She is always happy, and has so much fun doing absolutely anything! She is at that stage where everything she says is just hilarious. She always puts her sunglasses on upside down, and she loves to talk on the cell phone. This past week she has said such cutie things like this:
1. After a very long and tiring day of running she tells me just as she is dropping off to sleep, "Mommy, my legs are watery".
2. The next morning after that long day, she woke up waaaay too early and said "My eyes are not working, I think they need new batteries".
3. On the airplane coming home from FL she said "I can't hear my ears".

THE DAMAGE CONTINUES

Photobucket
Have I told you lately how much I love my dogs? I love them so much I don't even have a spinning head moment when I discover these lovely presents in my house. I'm sure this window is much more attractive after some additional puppy slobber. It is possibly true that there was just a tiny bit too much window sill right there, I'm so glad they took care of that for me.
Photobucket
And the stairs just needed that special little touch from my little bundles of love.

Photobucket
Did I mention that they are extremely talented? I mean, who else can chew a hole directly through a wood floor? How is that even possible? They are so skilled.
Photobucket
They are also incredibly bright. You know, they graduated from puppy kindergarten so they are quite sure that screen doors will automatically open when they decide to bolt outside. Smart little guys. And strong too apparently. Can you do this with your head?
Photobucket
Pure innocence.
Happy 1st Birthday to the most important men in my life (well, you know).

MAJESTIC OAKS

I grew up playing under these amazing oak trees. Aren't they beautiful? I never appreciated the beauty of these trees when I was there, but I sure miss the moss covered Florida oaks. This is the backyard of my dad's house in Gainesville. Some of these trees have been dated back 400 years by the University of Florida. It was so nice and relaxing to sit out under these majestic trees (and eat some boiled peanuts). It was fun to explore with Emily in all the places I played when I was her age. Photobucket
